During traditional times, White Cypress leaves were heated over hot coals or in a Coolamon to produce antiseptic and anti-inflammatory oil. Known for its great qualities, the leaf was wrapped around the skin with paperbark, which was known to soothe sore muscles and leave a calming effect.
Aboriginal people traditionally used Australian White Cypress timber to make spears, spear throwers, ceremonial objects, paddles and musical sticks.
Drawing on our generational knowledge of Australian native plants and traditional remedies, Native Secrets captures the essence of the outback through our unique essential oils.
